The documentary "On the Cloud Ship" reveals the meeting and discussion between two close personalities (souls) - M.K. Čiurlionis and Prof. Vytautas Landsbergis. For the first time, the two would meet here in the format of a TV film, where in the ninety-year-old professor's words, fluent games and plays would summarise the main elements of Čiurlionis' creativity - music, art, verbal creativity and even design. Čiurlionis answers the questions and themes with his work.

Čiurlionis' literary work is visualised by minimalist animated inserts created by Virginijus Malčius, based on Čiurlionis' drawings and atmospheric backgrounds.

An important thread of the film is the professor's masterclass in playing (Čiurlionis' works) for young musicians at the Čiurlionis School of Arts.

The film will be screened in various cinema and cultural centers in Lithuania. Professor Vytautas Landsbergis and the film's director will be invited to attend the events as and when possible. Audience members are invited for discussion.

The film will premiere in M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art on 4th March 2025.

It will be shown in Vilnius National Gallery of Art on 6th March.

It will reach the cinemas in autumn, 2025.
