The performance invites children to create their own forest. In the first part, actors Saulė Gotbergė and Miglė Navasaitytė tell the story of two sisters: Aušrinė and Vakarė. Early in the morning, when the first rays of sunlight have barely graced the leaves with their presence, they begin their journey through the forest.

The young spectators will be able to recognise various animals, birds, and other forest goods, to listen to folk songs and accompany the forest orchestra until the world created by these two sisters falls into the silence of the night. In the second part of the performance, the audience will be able to search and play freely by themselves. This is a performance for all the senses – it encourages to observe, to listen, to touch, and to smell.

During the creation of the performance, the creative team spent numerous rehearsals in a real forest, listening to the surrounding sounds and observing the insects, and recreated their discoveries on the stage. The theatre encourages to continue your explorations in the wonderful surrounding forests and nature trails.

M. K. Čiurlionis’ symphonic poem “In the Forest” and themes of folk songs are used.
