With this exhibition, the Museum continues its tradition of annually presenting a selection from its art collection for February 16th, Lithuania’s Independence Day. The collection includes works from the Lithuanian diaspora, as well as paintings, graphics, watercolors, pastels, sculptures, medals, photographs, and other valuable exhibits.

In 2025, the exhibition will also feature artworks from the Museum’s collection formed during the plein air sessions "M. K. Čiurlionis Days", which took place in Druskininkai between 1979 and 2000. These gatherings brought together artists from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Belarus, Ireland, France, and Finland.
