Four classical musicians who adore jazz—Dalia Simaška-Kontute (violin), Guoda Gedvilaitė (piano), Dainius Rudvalis (double bass), and Darius Rudis (percussion)—invite you to an evening filled with freedom, lightness, and smiles.

The program will feature “Sonatine Transatlantique” by the Polish-born French composer Aleksander Tansman, which will take you on a musical journey across the Atlantic Ocean, where the foxtrot, swing, blues, and Charleston will reveal a colorful world inspired by American culture.

This stylistic mood will be continued by works for violin and piano by the Lithuanian composer Zita Bružaitė. The program will culminate with French composer Claude Bolling’s suite for violin and piano jazz trio—a work in which the violin, piano, double bass, and drums engage in a lively musical dialogue between classical and jazz, brimming with rhythm, elegance, and the spirit of improvisation.

The concert will take place in the Nemunas Hall at “Grand SPA Lietuva.”

The event will be filmed, photographed, and publicized.
