The exhibition “The Europe of Spirits, or the Fascination with the Occult, 1750–1950” (French: “L’Europe des Esprits. La fascination pour l’occulte, 1750–1950”), took place at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Strasbourg, France, from October 7, 2011, to February 12, 2012.

The exhibition featured 17 works by M. K. Čiurlionis:

the “Zodiac” series (Čt 52–63), 1906/7
“The Ship” (Čt 167), 1905/6
the series “Sonata I (Sonata of the Sun)” (Čt 19–22), 1907
