The M. K. Čiurlionis House in Vilnius, together with the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, invites you to a special project – the theatrical concert program “Čiurlionis’ Wave of Songs”, which will travel through eight Lithuanian municipalities from June 16 to July 4, 2025.

Concerts will take place in: Palanga, Rietavas, Jurbarkas, Kėdainiai, Druskininkai, Varėna, Utena, and Vilnius.

The program will be presented by the choir of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, the chamber choir "Aidija" led by conductor Romualdas Gražinis, and a contemporary dance chamber group.

In cooperation with local cultural centers, each concert will include participation by local choral groups, young singers, and community members, depending on their possibilities.

The event will also feature pianist Rokas Zubovas, the great-grandson of M. K. Čiurlionis, who will share insights about the artist’s life and work.

Artistic directors of the program: Romualdas Gražinis and Rokas Zubovas.

The creative process will be documented by director Laurynas Valkiūnas, who will produce a culturally significant documentary film based on the project.

This program not only promotes a deeper understanding of Čiurlionis’ artistic legacy, but also fosters community engagement and collective creativity.
