The final chord of the XXII International Chaimas Frenkelis Villa Summer Festival is a gala concert, which will feature the Šiauliai City Symphony Orchestra “Camerata Solaris” and soloist Gunta Gelgotė (soprano, Latvia).

The symphonic music program will feature works by various composers, and special attention will be paid to the 150th anniversary of the birth of M. K. Čiurlionis – the audience will be presented with a work dedicated specifically to this occasion.

On stage – soprano Gunta Gelgotė (Latvia) with an exceptional voice, an internationally recognized opera soloist who regularly appears in the national theaters of Latvia and Lithuania and performs with the most famous orchestras of the Baltic countries.

The orchestra will be conducted by the festival’s artistic director Robertas Šervenikas – one of the most famous Lithuanian conductors, a long-time conductor of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, who is often invited to conduct at prestigious festivals in Europe.
