The 25th Sacred Music Festival, “Let Us Praise the Lord with Strings and Winds,” invites you to an exceptional and unique musical experience!

“In the Forest” is not a traditional concert, but a live experience that invites the audience to briefly step away from the pace of everyday life and enter a slower, more sensitive state.

Pianist Darius Mažintas, together with audiovisual artist Rimas Sakalauskas, creates a space where sound, image, silence, and atmosphere merge into a single, unified experience.

The program features Lithuanian folk songs harmonized by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, as well as the symphonic poem “In the Forest,” arranged for piano. Music becomes not only something to listen to, but also the very space into which the listener is invited to enter.

The space is transformed through subtle projections, light, and atmospheric elements, so that the audience feels as if they have entered a living, breathing forest. The audience is invited to slow down, remain in silence, and listen not only to the sounds but also to their own inner state.

The project is partially funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
