The Bank of Lithuania, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of M. K. Čiurlionis, congratulates the citizens by issuing a gold collector's coin worth EUR 50.

The obverse of the coin will feature a fragment of a reduced copy of one of Čiurlionis's most famous paintings "REX". The artist's work will be immortalised in gold. The fragment is inscribed with the words "Lithuania", the denomination "€50", the year 2025, the manufacturer's logo, and the initials of the designer. The reverse of the coin alludes to the coin's authorship by M. K. Čiurlionis himself: a facsimile of the artist's signature above the horizon and the inscription "150" below.

The release of the collector coin will also be accompanied by a celebratory event – the presentation of the collector coin to the public.
