The M. K. Čiurlionis House in Vilnius, together with the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, invites you to a special project – the theatrical concert program “Čiurlionis’ Wave of Songs”, which will travel through eight Lithuanian municipalities from June 16 to July 4, 2025. Concerts will take place in: Palanga, Rietavas, Jurbarkas, Kėdainiai, Druskininkai, Varėna, Utena, and Vilnius.

"Čiurlionis songs – they're echoing time... Moments of music, into which centuries of singing Lithuanians come to life; a hope is born that the old songs will be sung by their grandchildren." (Viktorija Daujotytė)

The programme will include Čiurlionis' settings of old folk songs for choir and organ music. The choir of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art and the chamber choir "Aidija" will perform, Rimvydas Mitkus will play the organ and Romualdas Gražinis will conduct the concert. The concert will also feature pianist Rokas Zubovas and students of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art contemporary dance programme.

Join the musical journey with “Čiurlionis’ Wave of Songs” – experience the spirit of shared artistry and cultural connection throughout Lithuania!

The event will be recorded.
