Photography

Čiurlionis became interested in photography while visiting Anapa in Caucasus in 1905 on invitation of the Wolman family. Before 2000, the photos he made in Caucasus were kept in the Čiurlionis’ family archive and were not available to the wide audience. For the first time they were publically displayed in M.K. Čiurlionis National Art Museum in Kaunas in 2000.
